In one of the most shocking articles that the New York Times has ever put out, a New York Times reporter has openly admitted that virtually every major mainstream news organization allows government bureaucrats and campaign officials to censor their stories.  For example, almost every major news organization in the country has agreed to submit virtually all quotes from anyone involved in the Obama campaign or the Romney campaign to gatekeepers for "quote approval" before they will be published.  If the gatekeeper in the Obama campaign does not want a certain quote to get out, the American people will not see it, and the same thing applies to the Romney campaign.  The goal is to keep the campaigns as "on message" as possible and to avoid gaffes at all cost.  But this kind of thing is not just happening with political campaigns.  According to the New York Times, "quote approval" has become "commonplace throughout Washington".  In other words, if you see a quote in the newspaper from someone in the federal government then it is safe to say that a gatekeeper has almost certainly reviewed that quote and has approved it.  This is another sign that "the free and independent media" in this country is a joke.  What we get from the mainstream media is a very highly filtered form of propaganda, and that is one reason why Americans are turning away from the mainstream media in droves.  People want the truth, and more Americans than ever realize that they are not getting it from the mainstream media.
To our staff and to our readers: As you are aware, The New York Times, Washington Post, Bloomberg and others are agreeing to give government sources the right to clear and alter quotes as a prerequisite to granting an interview.
To be clear, it is the bureau’s policy that we do not alter accurate quotes from any source. And to the fullest extent possible, we do not make deals that we will clear quotes as a condition of interviews.
Fox News host Neil Cavuto and Media Research Center president Brent Bozell castigated the mainstream news networks Thursday for not covering President Obama's speech last week, claiming "it took the networks four days" to "even mention" Obama's "controversial comment." During that speech, Obama made the unremarkable observation that business owners do not achieve success in a vacuum, but that public infrastructure -- such as roads, schools, and fire departments -- create a community that supports businesses.
Facebook and other social platforms are watching users’ chats for criminal activity and notifying police if any suspicious behavior is detected, according to a report.
The screening process begins with scanning software that monitors chats for words or phrases that signal something might be amiss, such as an exchange of personal information or vulgar language.
Let‚Äôs be honest with ourselves, here, fellow Jews. We do control the media. We‚Äôve got so many dudes up in the executive offices in all the big movie production companies it‚Äôs almost obscene. Just about every movie or TV show, whether it be ‚ÄúTropic Thunder‚ÄĚ or ‚ÄúCurb Your Enthusiasm,‚ÄĚ is rife with actors, directors, and writers who are Jewish. Did you know that all eight major film studios are run by Jews?
And let’s not forget AIPAC, every anti-Semite’s favorite punching bag. We’re talking an organization that’s practically the equivalent of the Elders of Zion. I’ll never forget when I was involved in Israeli advocacy in college and being at one of the many AIPAC conventions. A man literally stood in front of us and told us that their whole goal was to only work with top-50 school graduate students because they would eventually be the people making changes in the government. Here I am, an idealistic little kid that goes to a bottom 50 school (ASU) who wants to do some grassroots advocacy, and these guys are literally talking about infiltrating the government. Intense.
We Jews are a funny breed. We love to brag about every Jewish actor. Sometimes we even pretend an actor is Jewish just because we like him enough that we think he deserves to be on our team. We brag about Jewish authors, Jewish politicians, Jewish directors. Every time someone mentions any movie or book or piece of art, we inevitably say something like, ‚ÄúDid you know that he was Jewish?‚ÄĚ That‚Äôs just how we roll.
We’re a driven group, and not just in regards to the art world. We have, for example, AIPAC, which  was essentially constructed just to drive agenda in Washington DC. And it succeeds admirably. And we brag about it. Again, it’s just what we do.
But the funny part is when any anti-Semite or anti-Israel person starts to spout stuff like, ‚ÄúThe Jews control the media!‚ÄĚ and ‚ÄúThe Jews control Washington!‚ÄĚ
Suddenly we’re up in arms. We create huge campaigns to take these people down. We do what we can to put them out of work. We publish articles. We’ve created entire organizations that exist just to tell everyone that the Jews don’t control nothin’. No, we don’t control the media, we don’t have any more sway in DC than anyone else. No, no, no, we swear: We’re just like everybody else!
Does anyone else (who’s not a bigot) see the irony of this?
A Fox & Friends Weekend host's words jarred America awake Sunday.
"There is this city council in Texas," host Alisyn Camerota began, "and they're saying no more American flags!" What?! No flags?! The week of July Fourth?
What kind of lunatic lefty socialist commie pinko town does that? Wait -- did Fox really say Mineral Wells? Five days later, the Home of Crazy Water is still explaining that you can't believe everything you see on cable TV news.
CNN, Fox Botch Supreme Court Health Reform Decision, Falsely Report Individual Mandate Struck Down (Video)
The cable news networks rushed to report on the high court's ruling on the Affordable Care Act, but initially got the news wrong; UPDATE: CNN then issues a formal correction.
The cable news networks reported that the Supreme Court had struck down the individual mandate at the center of the Affordable Care Act, the formal name for what has become to be known as Obamacare, the president's stab at universal healthcare and the signature policy accomplishment in his first term. Both on air and online, CNN ran graphics and headlines that read that the court had invalidated the mandate. Fox also ran a headline on the air saying the mandate was invalidated.
