Activist Belgian priest admits to abuse

Francois HoutartA Belgian priest has confessed to a child sex-abuse accusation that came to light during a campaign to nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work fighting globalization's impact on developing countries.

The confession was published in a Belgian newspaper Wednesday and confirmed by the organization the priest founded, deepening a sex-abuse scandal that has rocked the Catholic Church in the country. After a spate of accusations this year, the church in September published the harrowing accounts of more than 100 victims of clerical sex abuse, some as young as 2 when they were assaulted.

Mercury Poisoning - An Urgent Reminder

Mercury poisoning takes a long time to work its horrific damage. Hiding for decades in the body and brain before its lethal work is accomplished, people think it is safe to use. Early symptoms include: a "burning tongue" sensation, or metallic taste in your mouth, or a burning feeling at the bottom of your feet. First a word, here or there, is forgotten.

Then, a person cannot remember more and more words, or how to do even the simplest daily activities. In its final stage, over 9 or 10 years (sometime less), the brain shuts down. Then the body cannot function properly. A person becomes unable to do basic tasks or even speak. This is mercury doing its deadly work. So, billions of people have been sold decades of advertising and medical lies. There is no safe level of ingestion or any kind of use of mercury!

Pope Says Sex Scandal Has Hit Unimaginable Dimension

Pope Benedict XVIPope Benedict XVI said on Monday that the continuing sexual abuse scandal in the Roman Catholic Church had reached a “degree we could not have imagined” this year, and that the Church must reflect on its failures, help the victims, and prevent abusers from becoming priests.

“We must ask ourselves what we can do to repair as much as possible the injustice that has occurred,” the pope told the Vatican hierarchy in a pointed Christmas message. “We must ask ourselves what was wrong in our proclamation, in our whole way of living the Christian life, to allow such a thing to happen.”
