Banned hyperlinks could cost you $11,000 a day

The Australian communications regulator says it will fine people who hyperlink to sites on its blacklist, which has been further expanded to include several pages on the anonymous whistleblower site Wikileaks.

Wikileaks was added to the blacklist for publishing a leaked document containing Denmark's list of banned websites.

ACMA's blacklist does not have a significant impact on web browsing by Australians today but sites contained on it will be blocked for everyone if the Federal Government implements its mandatory internet filtering censorship scheme.

Obama Opens Secret Laboratories to Germany

The research offensive began after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 and has been fuelled with huge sums of money ever since. Universities, companies and secret laboratories are carrying out research into highly sensitive surveillance cameras, bomb detectors, biometric analysis software and vaccines against biological weapons, among other things.

Sex claims against US Church rise

The number of new claims of sexual abuse made against US Roman Catholic priests rose by 16% to more than 800 last year, a Church report says.

It says the Church paid $436m (£313m) in 2008 for abuse cases. Most of the money was used to compensate victims.

It found that more than one in five victims were under the age of 10 when they were abused.

TVNL Comment: But non-believers are the ones who are going to hell...right? Keep following these creeps. Keep giving them your money. And keep taking their advice on who you should hate.

Obama Is Addicted to the Teleprompter

Barack Obama may soon be known as the Teleprompter President as his dependence on his teleprompters get more notice every day. He goes nowhere without them and is not usually seen speaking without their help.

Onlookers have found that Obama with and without his teleprompter becomes two different men. While the President is fluid in his speech and shows total poise in a prepared speech, his unscreened answers or extempore speech are too full of the universal filler “umm”. It has become obvious that he cannot go beyond the scripted words without a good deal of stuttering, causing a fresh wave of criticism of the president who cannot speak off the cuff.

Secret Bush memos made public by Obama

The Justice Department has released a long-secret legal document from 2001 in which the Bush administration claimed the military could search and seize terror suspects in the United States without warrants.

The legal memo was written about a month after the Sept. 11 terror attacks. It says constitutional protections against unlawful search and seizure would not apply to terror suspects in the U.S., as long as the president or another high official authorized the action.

Even after the Bush administration rescinded that legal analysis, the Justice Department refused to release its contents, prompting a standoff with congressional Democrats.

The memo was one of nine released Monday by the Obama administration.

CFR Professor Reveals Plot for Military Coup in 2012

During the FIU New World Order Summit, a professor at the school named Dr. Mark B. Rosenberg raised the concern during a panel session about the possibility of a military coup taking place in the United States by the year 2012. This was not theorizing, he was simply citing a study that took place at the Army War College.

It is interesting to note that both Dr. Rosenberg and Parag Khanna are members of the Council on Foreign Relations, a think tank dedicated to the purpose of establishing a one world government. Could Dr. Rosenberg’s statement exposing the white paper on the coup plot have been an example of dissent within the ranks of the CFR?

Dick Cheney invite to American Museum of Fly Fishing sparks anger

When the American Museum of Fly Fishing hooked Dick Cheney for a fund-raising dinner, critics howled that they should throw him back.

Cheney - whose Secret Service code name was "Angler" - spearheaded energy policy at the White House and bears blame, detractors say, for the Bush administration's poor environmental record.

"The entire fly fishing community is appalled and disgusted," said Ted Williams, conservation editor at Fly Rod & Reel magazine.
