Warner Bros. has fired Supergirl and Flash producer Andrew Kreisberg following an internal investigation involving sexual misconduct claims against him, the studio confirmed to USA TODAY Wednesday.
"After a thorough investigation, Warner Bros. Television Group has terminated Andrew Kreisberg’s employment, effective immediately,” said the studio in a statement provided by Warner Bros. spokesperson Tammy Golihew.
Greg Berlanti, whose Berlanti Productions oversees all of CW's DC Comics superhero shows, "will assume additional responsibilities" on The Flash and Supergirl, the statement said. "We remain committed to providing a safe working environment for our employees and everyone involved in our productions.”
