TVNL Editor's Comments: Time to Rename the Department of Defense to the Department of Offense

Let’s be real folks, we the people of America need to be defended from potential harm. But the truth is that most of the threats posed to Americans have little to do with military activity of rogue nations or so called terrorists. We are threatened, our lives our threatened, our well being, health and financial stability are threatened, our food supply is threatened and most recently our ability to keep our homes and receive life saving medical help are threatened. And the people who pose these very real threats to you are the same lying bastards who spend every possible moment trying to exploit exaggerated fears that have never really posed a threat to us in the first place.

I know many of you are going to say, “But what about 9/11, that was a real threat!” Well, there are two ways I can answer this. Following the comical official explanation of what took place that day, even the simplest reasonable analysis pretty much proves my point when I say we do not have a department of defense. If we were to believe the official narrative of the events of 9/11 and truly look into the actions prior to that day and on that day, one can only deduce our so-called Defense Department and executive leadership were comprised of the most incompetent collection of misfits that have ever been assembled. A child would deduce that the people who ignored the “warnings” to the president and who decided that it was more important to keep a classroom full of children calm rather than take control of a nation under attack, clearly depict a group of people with such extreme intellectual limitations that professional assistance would have to be provided on a daily bases to simply ensure that these clods could complete the task of putting on their own pants.

On 9/11 and on every day since the attacks on our soil, the US Defense Department played absolutely no role in defending our nation.

Of course, if one bothers to look past the official narrative of 9/11 and take a few minutes to notice where the official evidence contradicts the official narrative, one would reasonably conclude that “defense” was not remotely the order of the day for our Defense Department. In fact, neutralizing the defense of our nation is a more accurate description of the actions that took place that day.

Since 9/11/2001, our Defense Department has clearly become the Offense Department. All efforts made by our armed forces in Iraq and their unchallenged commanders have involved the planning and carrying out of offensive actions against non-threatening entities. These military “leaders’ whose integrity we dare not question are guaranteed positions await their turn in the personally enriching business of ensuring military conflict. This is a far cry from their mission as defined by the name of the institution they are sworn to serve.

In the meantime, Congress, along with our historically criminal and dishonest executive branch and our increasingly politicized judiciary have relentlessly been on the offense obliterating our personal freedoms, our financial security and our control over the health of our person being, the planet, our food supply and the balance of life on earth.

At the same time, the corporate media are the most effective enablers of these offenses. If this nation had a press that understood its role in a democracy, perhaps the public would understand what has been taking place. Perhaps the people would be driven to the streets by the kind of outrage and anger that historically brought masses to the barricades and brought down similar tyrants.

This is not an issue of right versus left, Republican vs. Democrat, Islamic extremest vs. the immoral westerner. This is an issue of a total exploitive assault on the citizens of our nation. This is an issue of a controlled media placed in charge of fabricating somewhat believable explanations for the events taking place so that public anger is misdirected away from the people who not only pose, but actually implement the greatest threats to the American people ever.

I am no bleeding heart liberal. I have no problem watching vast groups of dangerous radicals being wiped off the face of the earth. What sets me apart from many who have zero tolerance for those who threaten America’s safety and freedom is that I have learned that those enemies are closer than most people realize. In fact, we have no one in our government who can protect us from our own political and military ‘leaders. And that clearly and directly includes our misnamed Department of Defense. Think about it! PERSONAL NOTE UPDATE: I am currently being examined for a possible tumor, infection or abscess that may be causing the terrible pain that I have been experience. I have been taking several medications that have drained a great deal of my energy. My two main concerns during this difficult period have been to keep the news page updated and to find some way of showing my appreciation to the people a friends around me who are helping me deal with this most debilitating experience. I will however emerge victorious and I'll be back to my fighting self.

I have always been the person to be there for those who have no place else to turn. It is overwhelming and humbling when I find myself in a position where it is I who is in need of help. I am at a loss for words that would adequately express the support and friendship of my family, friends and TvNewsLIES brothers and sisters. Your kind words mean more to me than I can describe and during this time where I am experiencing excruciating and debilitating each kind word and every moment taken by someone who cares enough to think of me will remain in my heart as a ray of eternal sunshine that lights up my existence.
